The Pussycat Dolls launched their new video, When I Grow Up. I watched the video this morning and can honestly say it made me start growing…..up. Of course, Youtube doesn’t have the video anymore because the Pussycat Dolls had the video removed. Lame. Anyways, there is no sign of Britney Spears, as was previously reported. Be thankful, Britney’s abs just can’t compete.

Amy Winehouse collapsed, which is shocking only if you have been living in a cave that doesn’t possess a Surgeons General Warning. The only shocking news was that her heart is apparently working again. Fortunately, her assistant “assisted” her and got her back to a living breathing human being.
BBC News says, Her manager’s assistant was able to stop her falling and Winehouse’s father, Mitch, escorted her to hospital “as a precaution”, the spokesman said. Doctors are unsure as to the cause of the incident and the star may be kept in hospital overnight for observation.
The 24-year-old had been signing autographs for Canadian fans who had been waiting outside her house all day, her spokesman said.

AP says, Fullerton police Lt. Craig Brower says officers stopped 32-year-old Shante (Shahn-taye) Broadus of Sherman Oaks about 12:15 a.m. Saturday and took her to jail. She was cited and then released pending a court appearance.
Brower says nobody else was in the car but he didn’t have any other details.

New York Times says, Tom Brokaw, the former anchor of NBC Nightly News, came on the air at 3:39 p.m. that Mr. Russert had collapsed and died early this afternoon while at work. He had just returned from Italy with his family.
“Our beloved colleague,” a grave Mr. Brokaw called him, one of the premier journalists of our time. He said this was one of the most important years in his life, with his deep engagement in the network’s political coverage, and that he “worked to the point of exhaustion.” Mr. Brokaw said Mr. Russert was a true child of Buffalo and always stayed in touch with his blue collar roots and “the ethos of that community.”
AP says, Prosecutors had argued that a video tape mailed to the Chicago Sun-Times in 2002 showed Kelly engaged in graphic sex acts with a girl as young as 13 at the time. Both Kelly, 41, and the now 23-year-old alleged victim had denied they were the ones on the tape. Neither testified during the trial.
A jury deliberated after watching R. Kelley have sex with a minor and decided he wasn’t guilty. After the trial, many of the jurors were called up by LA defense attorneys and asked if they could add them to Myspace, as they will be needed in all future celeb trials.

Well, there are two good things about the underrated hotness that is Charlize Theron starring in a summer blockbuster. One is that it’s about damn time we get to see her strut her stuff on the big screen not done up all nasty and $#&! like she was in Monster and that other stupid movie.
